The province of Ontario has now expanded its Expression of Interest (EOI) system to include students who have completed their Master’s or Ph.D. degree from designated Ontario Universities.
These students can now register their profile (valid for 12 months) for Ontario immigration and be invited to apply by Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) based on a scoring matrix dependent on their age, work experience, language, etc. If nominated and accepted, applicants gain an extra 600 points, automatically qualifying them for permanent residence under the Express Entry Canadian Experience Class program.
