Starting March 2023, IELTS will allow test takers from India to retake just one component of the IELTS test.
Currently, if an individual does not get the desired score in one module of IELTS, they are required to give the entire IELTS exam once again.
Hereafter, the new feature will allow aspirants to take a single module to boost their scores to meet immigration and education requirements. If test takers cannot get the desired score on the first attempt, this feature will allow them to retake one area of the English test’s four language skills (listening, reading, writing, and speaking).
